Navigating 'The National Quality Standard'

The National Quality Standard improves educational and developmental outcomes for children and promotes continuous improvement. They also provide a guide to quality practice for specific services working with young children.  Working with the Standard can pose many challenging questions such as, ‘where do we start?’, ‘how do we use the guide?’ and ‘what strategies can we use to engage staff, children and families in the Quality Improvement Plan?’ This professional development session gives a practical guide to the Quality Areas, Standards, Elements and writing Quality Improvement Plans.

This workshop has a strong focus on the National Quality Framework including Quality Areas 1 - 7.

Workshop location:  ONLINE

Workshop time: 3:00pm - 5:00pm (NSW TIME)

Workshop cost: $55.00

Statement of Participation will be issued to participants on the completion of this workshop.

Completing Navigating the National Quality Standard will contribute 2 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 and 7.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

All early childhood professionals are welcome to attend.
