Purposeful program, practice, assessment and planning - NESA REGISTERED PD

Critical reflection and careful planning increase the value of children’s time in education and care by ensuring that the educational program and practice responds to children’s interests and scaffolds their learning
(Guide to the National Quality Standard, p. 18).

This interactive workshop focuses on thoughtful questions and guided discussion to promote critical reflection of your practices around the planning, documentation and evaluation of children’s learning. Content is primarily designed for educators who are developing their skills and knowledge in the programming area as we investigate the ongoing cycle of planning and explore practical strategies to observe, analyse and use information intentionally. We will go beyond merely documentation, and unpack meaningful practice to inform the preparation of environments and experiences that engage children actively in learning.

Workshop location: ONLINE

Workshop time: 10:00am - 12:00pm (NSW TIME)

Workshop cost: $60.00

Statement of Participation will be issued to participants on the completion of this workshop.

Completing this webinar will contribute 2 hours of QTC Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 and 7.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

All early childhood professionals are welcome to attend.
